Dear students/Staff

    Yoga is a priceless gift of ancient Indian tradition. The word “yoga” is derived from the Sanskrit root Yuj meaning “to join”, “join” or “to unite”, symbolizing the unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between human beings and nature, and a holistic approach to health and well-being.Yoga is known for disease prevention, health promotion, and management of many lifestyle disorders. Recognizing its universal appeal, on 11 December 2014, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) passed a resolution (resolution 69/131) declaring 21 June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY).

      The 8th International Day of Yoga -  2022 will be celebrated all over the world with the theme ‘Yoga for Humanity’. The theme of the 8th IDY 2022 was announced by PM Narendra Modi in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ webinar on 30 May 2022.

    In wake of the same, here @KV Srikakulam Library & library committee  will also be celebrating the International Day of Yoga 2022 on 21.06.2022.  The Following activities or Competitions will be organised for students.

    

                     

OPEN ART  & ONLINE QUIZ COMPETITION & CELEBRATION OF

 " INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA  -2022"  

brought to you by Kendriya Vidyalaya Srikakulam Library and Library Committee.

1.Open Art Competition (OFFLINE/ONLINE)

• The Objective of Open Art  Competition is to engage students in a creative exercise to express themselves, stimulate their creativity and innovative ideas through Art.

Important Instructions:

1. Students/Staff  must write his/her name, Class, Roll No  & Designation at the Top of the Drawing Sheet.
2. Drawing must be on A4 Size paper only,  Other size papers are not allowed.
3. Offline students they will submit their entries to directly to Librarian.
4. Online participants fill the below google form after completing your work very carefully.
5. Online participation students can register and participate themselves through this library blog  https://libkvsklm.blogspot.com/
6. Click a clear picture of the sheet or scan it as PDF/JPEG format. (Online Mode)

2.Quiz Competition (ONLINE)

• The Objective of quiz competition is to encourage students and helps expanding their knowledge to look beyond their knowledge about International Yoga Day.

This quiz is being organized through my govt portal

To register and participate,do the following:

1. go to mygov portal by clicking here

2. On the page you will find the quiz poster given above.  Navigate through the instructions by clicking the right arrow step by step till you reach the registration page titled participate information.

3. After registration you will have to take the quiz.

4. The Quiz is of 10 minuted duration and you can attempt as many question as possible in this time.

5. you can attempt the quiz only once. 

6. No Negative marks is there.

7. e-certificates of participate from students/Teachers
